Club Hotel with black and white tones

Introduced the concept of brand design for Club Hotel, MOD company has built a consistent design vision for the whole everything, including the interior space. The goal is aimed at the design and lifestyle of the guests learned traveling around the globe. Mix design philosophy and the utility of the hotel is Club and local identities, as well as global dominance.
Club hotel has 22 bedrooms, including independence, a rooftop bar and an outdoor eating area with Spanish cuisine at the ground level. Hospitality Club project is designing the company's most recent Ministry of Design, Singapore.

Casa Areia by Aires Mateus Architects

Dezeen are in Venice for the opening of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2010 where Lisbon firm Aires Mateus Architects are exhibiting these houses with sandy floors, photographed by Nelson Garrido.

Called Casa Areia, the project comprises seaside accommodation made of wooden frames covered in natural fibres.

Sand covers the floor in the kitchen and living space, connecting them to the beach and landscape outside.

Bedrooms are housed in separate structures.

The Venice Architecture Biennale runs 29 August – 21 November 2010.

This construction is composed by 4 little houses in a place near the sea.

They where reconstructed with traditional methods using wood and a traditional stem.

This project was build on the sand that is a natural and abundant material that was transported to the interior of the common places (the living room and the kitchen) giving this way the connection between the environment and the new and totally integrated construction.

This is the most spectacular on this project, being on the living room with your feet on the sand, this is a totally comfortable construction even with warming floor that warms up the sand.

X2 Resort Kui Buri

Located on eight acres of virgin beach coast on the Gulf of Thailand, the X2 Resort Kui Buri is meant to harmonize with its surroundings of undisturbed greenery and calm fishing villages.
There are twenty-three villas with private terrace, garden and pool. Villa walls are made of locally-quarried rock and stone, and are prolonged to appear, from the neighbor’s point of view, as a fence.
Within the villas, beds are positioned towards floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto the beach, and clean, understated furniture adds to the resort’s overall atmosphere of unpretentious sophistication.
